Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

Oh I have, I've emailed twice only to get the "everything is normal it will be done in a couple of days", and he has both called and emailed According to him he has been very active in writing letters, and suspects that this transfer got moved to the bottom of the pile.

One of those things that you are damned if you do and damned if you don't. I had a purchase via a dealer that I thought was getting late but I didn't call because I did not want to take up their time at the CFO office which adds delay to everyone's transfers. After receiving an approval for a much later purchase, I called and it turned out the dealer never initiated the transfer and gave me someone else's transfer number. That was after the OIC so I am SOL. Now if the IWS listed pending transfers with an ETA I could have caught it in plenty of time. So call, call, call, email, email email so they approve your transfer just to get you out of their hair.

Consignments are usually considered as B2P. They most likely applied for the transfer through their business portal

From what i read on here I believe they are B-P.

That is one reason why people use them. It makes the transfer process a bit easier when you donet have to get 2 people in the mix. .

For Ontario, is the "transfer notification" act as your ATT or do you still need to get an ATT since Bill C-71 changed the rules.
