Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

ON retailer purchase April 29th, they submitted April 29th. Received transfer approval today and picked it up. 42 days total. The retailer was confused why I have mine and he has guys from early April still waiting.
 
As context I submitted a complaint to the ombudsman and gave them all the info they requested. Not sure if this had anything to do with it but info is yours to speculate on.
 
Well guys...been a pleasure checking in on this thread everyday...but my transfer from April 9th was approved today.

I would once again remind everyone still waiting to file a complaint with the ombudsman. If enough of us complain, maybe it will improve for us all.
 
I think I am officially 9 weeks... seems like its 9-10 wks in Ont is the norm during this. Although odd that some are as low as 6-7 weeks. How does that work?
 
Called yesterday...told my transfer (from April 16th) wasn't done...today I got emails that BOTH my April 16th transfer and my May 14th transfer have complete!!!

Both were private sales...the April one coming from the Yukon and the May one from Ontario.
 
I put in a complaint with the Ombudsman today finally. I have two April 6th transfers and an April 20th one I am still waiting on. It's nuts.
 
Just called the CFO office, both my applications from May 11 and May 14 have been approved yesterday. Both retailer purchases from Tenda. Close to a month of wait time.

Filed complaints through the ombusman office twice in late May. Provided all the info they requested. Don't know if that helped tho.
 
Approved yesterday for April 2nd transfer, approved today for May 6th transfer. ON-ON go figure.... I did submit a complaint with the ombudsman. Never called the CFO.
