Another one started on June 29th but I called on the 30th. Approved noon today, private Quebec to Ontario. Seven weeks exactly. Getting better but there's a ways to go yet.

This Ontario waiting game is a pain in the butt. My gun was purchased Sat June 27th and was started on Monday June 29th. Now they are starting July transfers. Mine must be on the same desk as the bank teller I deal with .......the slowest person with the longest line who is always on time for their lunch break and comes back late.
I think they're trying to get caught up on the Business to Private end first, possibly? That seems to be a large jump. I'm July 28 purchase from a sponsor (it hasn't been completed yet).
Either that or the piles of paper/or computer files are random.
yup, bought mine que to ont private on july 17, will see if it happens this week. going to call tomorrow.

Private to Private Ontario July 6th - August 19th completed today.
So I go to my mailbox today and I see a letter from the Ontario CFO. I open it and its my new restricted transfer for a ZevOZ9. It was started June 29th and was completed on August 12 - 8 days ago. I contacted the store and they were not aware that the transfer was completed. They had not received the transfer from the CFO in any form. I scanned a copy and sent it to the store so they can confirm with the CFO this morning.
The gun has been registered to me for a week and the store was not aware. Has this happened to you.

The CFO in Ontario is strange. It's like they don't have a procedure in place that every employee is supposed to follow to process a transfer. It's like everyone employee does it their own way. Sometimes I get emailed a copy, sometimes I don't. Sometimes the store finds out, sometimes it doesn't and I send it to the store. I've never had it physically mailed to me though.
