Transferred from biz to me in only four days (Feb 5-9).

Unfortunately, I noticed some issues with the finish and was told to send it to importer/distributor for warranty work. They agreed to replace the firearm, but I was told it could be "weeks" before the cfo approves the transfer.

Bought a new pistol Thursday. The clerk was saying he’s seen a few done in a matter days lately. I’d be thrilled with a week or two. I was 2 months on my last one

Seller called in this morning to initiate transfer , I called at 10:45 to do my part as buyer , had transfer completed email before 2:30 .
Private to private in Ontario.
I must say very nice friendly service ,and around four hours for approval.

Bought a handgun from a member here. Transfer initiated and completed in under 24 hours. I`m in NL, they are in ON.

Bought a restricted firearm from a retailer this past Saturday, still waiting..
I sold a restricted in a private sale last may and it took the CFO 10 weeks to approve the transfer. I’m hoping that I get the approval ASAP for mine from the retailer.

Had to call CFO (no emails were sent with approval)

I called the 1800 number in miramichi as soon as i got the reference number. The lady took my info and the next morning i got an email with the transfer.
Last restricted took 2 days, did the same thing.

It’s odd that the transfer times seem to be so random.

They do seem random from my experiences. I've had 2 days / 2 weeks / 1.5 months, all seemingly random.... Go figure.

Calling one in to sell march 1st, and called in for another feb 23rd to sell.

Alberta store to Ontario private: 4 days to get the transfer. It seems Ontario CFO is moving FAST. Not like last year in March.
