We haven't seen any transfers come in today so I am figuring they aren't.

Handgun sales alone should keep them going for a while. Twice the volume of normal times (so I heard).
And now there's going to be a run on semi-auto rifles...

I'm not sure that's true. SAs are being outright banned for confiscation, not "frozen".

Of course, if you don't have the currently non-restricted semi-auto you definitely never bought... then the new law is just another piece of paper.

I think he’s referring to an email provided by the retailer letting him know what his reference number is. Not that his transfer has been approved.

Correct. A few minutes after 6pm I got an email with the reference number letting me know the transfer had been initiated. So its a few days ahead of the chart. And also very late in the day.

They do seem to be slowing down, my first of three was initially early to mid February and seems like it’s now been pushed to end of February.

Is there a way to track progress on the CFC site?

I'm not going to post reference numbers as others have but I will say we had over 20 transfers from Ontario come in today and over 30 from the other provinces...I think 58 transfers were approved today. Not bad for a Sunday.
