Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

I've bought restricted guns and prohibs at various auction houses over the years. I've never had to call in to the CFC with a reference # for my part of the transfer (like needs to be done with P to P transfers), so I would assume that all these particular auction houses would fall into the B to P category.

You don’t need to reference any other spreadsheets or worry about the transfer numbers.

Thanks. That sounds like it would work well. Mind you I would use the Median instead of Average because there still seems to be rouge P2P approvals and the odd very slow approval that throws off the average. I will see what I can do when I get a chance.

Lets talk theoretical here.

It directly links what is a semi anonymous user profile to two known people the buyer and the seller.

Say you've recently posted photos of something like a semi-auto non restricted firearm in your possession.

Say something like C-21 with the G amendment passes and it gets banned.

Say you attempt passive non-compliance try to deny that you have any now banned firearms.

How much information have you posted here that could incriminate you.

If you give a full transfer that gives an investigator 2 doors to knock on. Leave out one number its 20, two 200, three 2000. Investigators will always start with low hanging fruit.

This is also only one example what could happen with that much information. Now just think about with the looser laws around red flagging coming in C21. I'd be careful posting anything these days.

I agree. The last 2 digits don't mean much of anything to this thread or the spreadsheet, yet they DO make you identifiable. Why put that information out there when it serves no useful purpose?
