60355xx Ontario private to private Initiated Sept 16th transfer came in today Feb 28th !!

Weird I’m 6034 private not a damn thing. Does it change if it’s your first restricted?

When the seller calls the CFP to initiate the transfer they are given a reference number. The transfer does not get sent to the CFO and added to the queue until you as the buyer call and confirm your part. If you are unable to get through and confirm your part for a couple of days because the lines are busy then your transfer is delayed. So someone with a little higher reference number who was able to confirm right away may get their transfer approved sooner. This is the reason we track the private to private transfers separate from the business to private.

Anyone having huge delays on receiving their registration letter in Ontario? Received email transfer before the new year and was mailed Handgun. I still haven’t received registration. I have received other registration letters for other Handguns purchased around the same time. Curious if any of you run into this with your registration letters?

I have the same issue. Not sure what's going on.

I had the same issue, I had to called them and ask them to print me a new one and resend it. It took a couple weeks from there.

It probably was lost or never sent out in the first place. All of mine have arrived within 2 weeks of approval, including 2 in the new year (most recent was 3 weeks ago).

Mine all came within 2 weeks,now waiting for the last one that was approved on Monday. I would call and ask them to resend it , we all know that 10% of their work is "lost " or "we have no idea what happened,just wait another 2 weeks "..typical government workers answer

Just received mine and my updated ‘new’ PAL. Took 17 days from the day the transfers went through.

The first one was a buddy's, not sure what date the seller called in, 21st was the buyer.

Second one was mine, seller called in September 20th, I called in on the 21st.

Edit: Seller called in on September 16th for my buddy.
