Update On Ontario Restricted Transfer Times

Yeah, I currently am waiting for a restricted rifle that I bought on March 6, reference #60638xx if that gives you an idea of how many transfers were initiated since Oct 21

Not recent, but I’m still waiting for a restricted rifle transfer from October 13

I have only made one call to check the status, and was put thru to a cranky cop who made me feel like I was a pain the arse for doing so. I assume my file was put to the bottom of the pile.
So much for being a law abiding tax paying citizen.
 
Now that it looks like we're pretty much through the rush, I have to ask... how many CGN'ers out there are still waiting for a handgun approval?
Every single one of my approvals has been behind schedule, and I still have one outstanding that should've been approved in January.
CFO has told me to pretty much #### off and wait.
I'm genuinely happy for those who've gotten their approvals smoothly, but boy this has been a frustrating few months.
 
P2P completed today, started Oct.20th the day before the freeze went into effect...

That's it for me. Done until we have a gov with the courage to make this all right. IF that ever happens...

And it took two tries, first one I got hung up on after 40 mins on hold, but second try I got ahold of the CFC and started the transfer of this 6.5" Heritage Rough Rider revolver to my wife. The gentleman at the CFC let me port her into the call & all was done in about 3 mins.

That's 3/3 for me, would be interesting how much time it takes to clear up the remaining rifle transfers
 
Finally got the certificate for my last hand gun transfer. This one took 2 weeks and 6 days which is longer than all the rest of my transfers since Larry, Curly and Moe put in this crap last May.
