The polymer we are employing is the same as what Magpul uses, however we are having "glass" added to the mix in order to further strengthen the finished product.
Please do not ask me more on this as I really do not know exactly what the plastics experts are adding to the mix other than seeing the difference in the polymer. The "glass" adds significant rigidity and durability to the finished product, which will enhance how they work as well as how long their service life is. The additional cost of this is marginal, so to have the very best product we can have asked for this option.

This sounds very promising!! Thanks!

Very cool. Way to keep it Canadian, and better yet, demonstrate that a Canadian company can design, manufacture, and offer the Canadian market a magazine that is well designed, looks great, functions properly, and doesn't cost a fortune.

Great job.

What would be the possibility of making larger capacity and stamping them "for use in Mossberg MVP 5.56mm Bolt Action Rifles"?

Zero, as the Mossberg MVP doesn't use Mossberg MVP mags, they use AR pistol mags, or AR rifle mags, as advertised by Mossberg which screws us out of 30 round MVP mags. As such, the 10 AR pistol and 5 AR rifle mag round limits apply.

Also, ATRS doesn't make mags for guns they don't produce in house.

Spot on. Thanks for saving my typing finger.

According to your timeline we're approximately 45 days from "availability". Do we get to see what these gen 2s look like now, or more waiting? I'd think by now the actual manufacturing has begun? I have been holding off purchasing lar15 mags waiting for yours.

If a photo of the 3D printed final prototype would suffice I can post that, the molds are being made at this time so we do not have a production mag to show yet, but once the molds are finished the actual injection , assembly and so on goes very quickly.

Just to clarify. The photo is of the 3D prototype, the actual mags being produced for sale are injection molded, hence far more durable.
We expect we should see them in the 45 to 60 days
Colors offered. Black, Tan, OD and possibly some hot pink and 2 tone.

Tan, and two tone seem interesting.

I'd be interested in an urban grey or even white. White could be RIT dyed any color the buyer chooses. Could make for an interesting option for those so inclined.

IF we do 2 tone it would be body 1 color, follower and base plate another.
No grey or white are being contemplated. With a minimum of 500 mags or parts per color we just don't need that amount of investment risk for odd colors unless there actually IS a market, which so far does not seem to be the case.

The molds are being made, the folks making them figured later this month until they were completed, my understanding is that the actual injection molding process is fairly quick. I will follow up with the mold makers today for a better projection on timing, but I know we have got to be getting real close to time for injection and assembly.

Will you be having 308 versions made to compliment your new MHR? I like poly mags, but do not like the 20/5 option currently available. Waste of space.

We may at some point but with a set of molds running 50K per mag and having a TON of capital already tied up in these mags and the new rifle it is not high on the priority list right at the moment.
I too prefer the 10 round mag body and to have it internally blocked to 5 is even better, or at least as good as it gets given our totally stupid laws on mag capacity. Ideally a 10 round mag would be my choice. Gotta have a dream.

We have had some significant issues getting these to market. And we certainly did not anticipate them taking any wheres near as long as they have.
Getting properly screwed by CAA after the 1st batch came over. The local company who is now making them for us is great but like us very anal, hence more delays than planned, but we want these to be the very best damn mags on the planet.

Gotta hand it to you for not succumbing to pressure/greed and holding off on releasing until it's perfect. Can't imagine the grief taken from impatient people :p

Will these new ones have a slight curve to them like they were supposed to, or are they back to being straight "stick" mags?

I can't help but wonder, why are people/businesses still into 10-round LAR mags when we have the .50 beowulf mag option that holds 14 rounds?

Simple...cost. The crap PCV mags are twice the price and real AA Beo's are about 4x...
