PCV plastic ones are not up to performance abuse. The LAR-15 ones can be conditioned and worked into good reliability as they are metal. 4 extra rounds would be great but not at 4x the cost. No way can I justify paying upwards to $100 for that.

Poor value.

My point is, why don't businesses like ATR develop .50 beowulf mags instead of LAR mags, and sell it at just a bit higher price than LAR. Development of the product wouldn't cost more, margins would be better, consumers happier. Win win win.

If ATR ever markets a 50 cal AR based rifle then I'm sure the mags will follow.

The simple fact is ATR is a rifle (and in this case, pistol) manufacturer that is just supplying magazines for one of their products.

Good point.

Alberta Tactical Rifle isn't just capitalizing on semantics.

They actually make pistol mags, for a pistol that they actually make.

We have had some significant issues getting these to market. And we certainly did not anticipate them taking any wheres near as long as they have.
Getting properly screwed by CAA after the 1st batch came over. The local company who is now making them for us is great but like us very anal, hence more delays than planned, but we want these to be the very best damn mags on the planet.

When it comes to manufacturing items for this sport I would rather see you and your supplier be "anal" rather than having something that doesn't stand the test of time

Yay! Was there ever a pic of the mags posted? I forget...

Nevermind, found it. Looks good.

Had that problem too, I'll be going up next week so I said screw it and choose pick up in store, I think their system is just being overwhelmed right now, I talked to him on the phone and he said things were just going crazy

Overwhelmed is a gross understatement!! Our server dies about 15 minutes after we announced the mags were finally in stock.
Please bear with us, we are working our asses off trying to cope with this.

Just spoke to the good folks at ATR and they have plenty of stock so the panic buying (which I got caught up in) is not warranted.
Relax and send them an email with your order and all your info and they will process them.

These magazines are available in any colour you want so long as it's black...
(other colours will be available in a few weeks)

These magazines look and feel great.

However, they do not work in my Mossberg MVP as they do not lock up tight in the magwell. The bolt fails to strip the next round out of the magazine unless I hold it at the proper angle. I know Magpul magazines will feed in the MVP so it's not a polymer vs metal issue.

The magazines do lock up nice in my two AR-15 rifles. There are issues as the rounds can get caught up on the lips of the magazines. The last round always fails to feed and it is wedged so tight that I need a tool to pry it out every time. This occurred in the 2 of the 6 magazines I purchased tonight. I haven't tried the other 4 but a visual inspection of them leads me to believe they will all have this issue. I'm not taking a file to them yet as maybe this is something that will work itself out with use and I will wait to see what solutions people come up with on CGN.

This is really odd.
PLEASE do not alter them, when you get time bring mags and guns to us so we can see what is going on and make it right for you.

Unfortunately the popularity of these magazines proved too strong, and we encountered significant technical difficulties with the online shopping cart.
We were all over the phones this afternoon trying to take orders, and we'll be back at it on Monday.

I got the email, signed up, tried to buy them, but no "buy now" button, no "add to cart" etc.

it says something about technical difficulties?

My post in this thread seems to have disappeared...odd hope I didn't offend anyone...just asked if these will fit the Tavor, from earlier posts in thread it appears they will just fine but if someone can advise 100% that would be greatly appreciated as I do intend on ordering a few of these.

No offense taken, just trying to keep the thread as short as possible so as to answer the questions. I thought I had answered yours but may have screwed up with the delete button.

The Tavor we had to try them in had no problems running with the new series mags

Ordered a few, more because you put the effort into bringing them to market than because I actually need them. In the emailed order receipt the unit price is $0 FYI, but the total reflects the accurate total. Not sure what's going on there, but I'm sure you've got it all under control.

The website still has some glitches to be worked out, but our IT guys are on it.
