UPDATE: Rossi Ranch Hand Mares Leg

woah! when did the caliber go to .375? and wil there be a chicken boullion version available?

This is CGN damnit, I figured all caliber discussions end up at .375 anyways, so just trying to jump the gun... ooh, bad pun.... Though that warped part of the brain's probably where that up-sized beefy 'stock' idea came from too. :p

Have you shot your Chiappa yet. How do you like ti.
Most importantly can you hit anything with ti I have heard guys packing them doing exploration work and loving the short and light weight of the mares leg!

As accurate as you would think, once I got a feel for the sights, 5 gophers died at 15 yards. Also tried the CCI 44mag shot shells on a couple, grouse will not be a problem.

I have been following the possibility of these guns coming into Canada.

It is the size and weight that appeal to me. More specifically the width/thickness of these. They should be much thinner than a shotgun, and they are much lighter.

I am hopeful that someone will make a fully covered cordura holster for these that are usable both as a holster and able to be mounted on a pack via Molle. I think a full coverage holster mounted on the side of a pack would make these guns nearly invisible until they are needed.

Now if I can find someone to make a custom cordura holster for me. :)

That is in fact the appeal. And while i'm sure they take a little getting used to I'm sure they're more accurate to a longer range than a pistol grip shotgun.

Closest thing we're going to see to a non-restricted pistol. More like a micro-rifle.

UPDATE: I was going to wait until I got official word on paper i.e. "an invoice" but I have received a verbal go ahead on a small shipment into Canada in 10-14 days. Amount is undetermined and calibers are undetermined as well, although I hear it is .44 heavy which is what I requested. They are "en route" as we speak and have to clear customs, get processed with the CFC, then shipped out to me. My distributor has told me he will get these out to me ASAP...

Once I get the invoice I will contact the first people on the wait list via the way they contacted me and get these puppies out to you guys!!! About freakin' time!!!
