UPDATE: Rossi Ranch Hand Mares Leg

hey guys, i am on the list as of a few days ago, not sure if there will be enough to satisfy demand yet. BUT, why would this be a candidate for reclassification when you could throw a full stock on it and have the OAL taken care of? would that not be the worst case scenario, no half stocks, but full is OK?

It can't really be reclassified, all the cops could do is claim it violated a current law. There are a number of challenges with that for the police, and after a few shipments hit canada it would cost too much and be too much of a pain to make it stick. And the fact is the law is indeed on our side, and pressing it to be stated so in court would not be in the police's interest.

But yes, you could always put a full stock on it :)
 
How many people think the big loopy lever is the ugliest thing goin? I didn't know anything about these until yesterday and am finding myself drawn closer and closer to putting an order in for a .44 mag. How difficult would it be to buy a spare lever cuz I'd be getting the hacksaw and TIG out soon as it comes out of the box. Thoughts?

Depending on the metal it really wouldn't be too difficult. But it would be nice to have a 'spare' so one could put it back to factory if ya wanted to sell it or things went fizzle.

But you can't spin it if you don't have the big loop! :D

At first i thought the big loop was a little ungainly to look at, but it's really growing on me.

My 16 inch carbine has the smaller loop, and it is pretty small. Fine for hunting and the like, but i think i like the larger loop for the mare's leg.

But they're the same gun exactly as far as the action goes i believe, so i would imagine you could order in a 'regular' loop handle as a replacement and it should go on fairly easily.

I'd give the large loop a try before you buy the spare tho - you may just find it's to your liking more than you thought.

Plus - the larger loop makes great 'brass knuckles' in case you run out of ammo during a zombie attack and have to smak one in the head :)

ALL THE MORE REASON TO GET RID OF IT!:p

I suspect 'glock foot' will have a companion in the ER... perhaps 'rossi ribs' or 'spinner shoulder'.

Thanks for that idea Foxer, if those are interchangeable it'd save some hassle and be awesome. Anyone able to confirm that?

Wish I had left my computer off.... now I really want one of these darnit!

Heh - well perhaps. I'll definitely be in. I've been dreaming of these since they were first proposed. If these hadn't come in i'd have gone with the chippawa, but with these i can get the gun AND belt for the same price.

I dont know, there seems to be a good sized waitlist so far just going by how many people have stated that they are on the waitlist!

I just wish they could be here earlier than the end of march!
