Never saw one with that problem.... Try it on another AR, if no good I'm sure OST will exchange it.

BCM Medium latch is great...Raptor is smoother, I own both

Check the latch on the Raptor, especially the tip that engages into the slot of the upper receiver. Also, check that the upper receiver bump/ramp that guides the charging handle latch into it's locked position isn't overly worn.
