US M14 Parts Kits

Norinco receivers are cut to USGI spec from forgings. roll pin for bolt catch and connector pin is different but as far as most everything else, such as receiver threads, ALL M14/M1A/M305 ect use the same threads except for the actual components on the barrel (gas lock and castlenut)

now....
I gots a question?

by heavy barrel..... these are USGI probably made by TRW or SAK? So they are more like the medium profile we are used to from say criterion and krieger profile/contour wise?
Had a few people messaging me asking questions and advice regarding the standard or heavy usgi barrels and if the oprod guide needs to be like the krieger heavy barrel.

my answer was the oprod guides on these kits should be the same as i thought the usgi "heavy barrel" was in the medium profile and all parts are same between the two.
someone can correct me if I wrong though as I have no knowledge on these kits..... just happy to see them!!!

I will post some photos of the heavy barrel in the morning. All op rod guides I have seen have been either hollow or skeletonised stamped GI type.

STOP PRESS . We will be releasing the first batch tomorrow. These will be available to purchase tomorrow, Friday morning. Light barrel kits $950.00 and heavy barrel kits for $1,150.00. We will pick preferred stocks to go with the heavy barrel kits, shipping should be approx. $20

To find on the on the web site click on the "Banner" should be there in the morning, or click Firearms then parts or search M14parts

Looks like I'll need to be keeping a computer handy tomorrow morning to spastically refresh your website until I see these posted. Given how difficult it is to import M14 parts from the U.S. now, these are just about our only option unless the new administration makes some serious changes...

I would think that as long as the kits are as issued, there should be no problem with barrel fitment. If these heavy barrels aren't later commercial manufacture that certainly makes them even more appealing. :p

Now, is it better to buy a couple of the standard profile kits, or go for one heavy barreled one? Decisions!

By the numbering I think they are military issue, I will try and photo them in the morning. Approx 50 HB and 150 light but we are keeping a handful in reserve in case any one is short a part or has problem. No warranty but if not happy call us as soon as you receive them and we will sort something out.

I got a heavy barrel as well and just let out a loud YIIIIPPPPEEEEE! People in the office are confused.

Thanks so much Wolverine! I almost got 2 but decided to share this opportunity with as many CGN'RS as possible! Good luck everyone!
