I feel compelled to stand and applaud as well...
That is an amazing build. I've always had a love for the M40 and this is one of the first times I've seen a "replica" that honestly had me speechless. How long did you search for that scope? Wow.
 
I thought you might try duplicating an era specific load and bullet combo. I've got tons of Federal GM brass you can have for it.

No, not VBull , I think they had an actual Unertl some time back. Everything was sourced though friends, barrel via ATRS, the crown Jewel is the 6 digit receiver in the same serial range as a real rifle. I got it thru CGN here but cannot remember who??? I wish they would chime in so I can give them props. Sling is a Les Tam
 
I think the receiver came from me. Phil in Saskatchewan. Sound right? I just remember a guy (sparrow?) with a WTB add for a 6 digit Remington short action. It was a .243 originally, right? Phil

And now this, the ###iest rifle around, is up for sale on the EE...

Hopefully whoever buys it treats it right, doesn't just rapid fire surplus 308 through it at 25m...
