UTAS UTS-15 Shotguns and Accessories Now Available!

The second shipment of UTS-15 shotguns has arrived, we should start processing orders by the end of the week.

Our first shipment of UTAS-15 was very well received, unfortunately a small percentage have reported problems with the magazine tube selector bolt breaking. The current magazine tube selector is metal, the original one was polymer. The latest UTAS development is to use a 4 mm bolt in place of the 3 mm bolt, all future production will incorporate this development. The shipment we have here have the 3 mm bolts. All broken bolts will be upgraded with the 4 mm bolt, this means that the Monoblock has to be changed out, we will not be able to offer this upgraded fix until at least late June.

If you have a UTS-15 shotgun that suffers from a broken selector switch bolt please contact Wolverine Supplies for a return authorisation number, you then have the option of keeping your gun until we announce that we have the new parts or returning it to us and we will repair when the new parts arrive. The UTS-15 will operate with the magazine selector switch removed, but you lose the capability of magazine selection.

Excellent news! I can't wait to get mine. Even if the bolt hasn't broken by June, would I be able to send it in for the upgrade? Obviously I expect those who have broken bolts to have priority, but I want to be able to depend on this gun for years, so any reliability upgrades would be very nice to have.

I got a 7.5 extend tube from your side. But the tactical choke seems not fit. Now it's stuck, what can I do now.

I was told to send mine in on a RMA for this reason I just mailed it a couple days ago. Am I in for a long wait on the repair? Thanks

Yes, we will not have the 4 mm bolts and new mono blocks untill July. Please send a e-mail to me at John@wolveriesupplies.com I can change out your broken piece for a new one but it will still be a three mm bolt, I do not have the parts to fix many like this. We would much rather wait untill the new improved parts are in but if you were not advised of this I can either return your gun as it is or repair with the 3 mm bolt, your call. To anyone else reading this please do not return your gun unless you are prepared to wait until July for a new fix.

Try not to damage the choke, your extended tube may be faulty. Hold the choke in something padded and unscrew the barrel extension, no worries if you damage that as I can send you a replacement at NC from stock. Worse case return the tube and choke and we will unscrew here and send replacements. There may be the odd barrel extension with a poor thread. Always oil the threads before attaching them and keep them tight.

Sounds good I will email you. Also In the original thread you mentioned an approximate...ish date for the laser flash lights to be here.. Could you post it again by any chance? Thanks.

Tks John, I just have them seperated, the extend tube seems impossible to use, can I exchange it? Tks in advance!

Yes, but as you correctly point out we will first give priorty to guns with broken bolts.

Took my UTAS for its first trial run, unfortunately my rifle ranged banned shotguns so I was confined to the skeet range. The general consensus was that this gun is not meant for shooting clays, duh. :HR: The gun handed perfectly, no jams and no parts flying off or cracking like in the older models. Since I was at the skeet range I couldn't let the gun reach its full potential, I found some land to go shooting on and I plan to let the slugs fly this weekend. The gun handles recoil perfectly, I know I was shooting target loads but I used target loads in my old shotgun and the recoil was considerably different. Very easy to control and maneuver fast, the thing is so light I thought I grabbed an empty case when I was leaving my house. All in all this thing just feels right, I'm extremely glad I didn't cancel my order because this is by far my new favorite gun.

For anyone considering ordering one I highly recommend it. Another thing I recommend is getting a camo. I've seen the gun in black and while it looks great it just can't compare to the digital desert camo version I ordered. The desert camo just makes the thing pop and I feel it adds so much to the overall appearance of the gun that it justifies the extra cost. I haven't seen any other camo version so I can't comment on them but the desert camo looks 100 times better in person than it does on the website.
