and they can thank a Canadian Gerald Bull for that ... and Gerald can thank the Germans for their work on the 88 Flak 41 (among other german artillery developments) which he managed to study as part of the Allied analysis of German technology immediately post war.... ie the V3 led to Bull's Babylon gun
