Its kinda funny. The same thing happened to me. But since I was able to avoid the vehicle that cut me off, there was no collision with the other vehicle. My insurance company ruled that I was at fault, even though an off duty police officer witnessed the entire accident.
Britain, here he'd have charged with careless driving and a couple of hundred dollar fine.

The IJzerbedevaart (Yser Pilgrimmage) in July 1977. The tower you can see is the second one built in the aftermath of the terrorist bombing of the original Yser Tower. The monument commemorates Belgians who were killed in the World Wars.
Not sure what the seaside resort is. Maybe Ostende?
