So I picked up a pretty decent 3-lever VIS Radom at the Kamloops Gun Show. This one is an "N" alphabet series, so well into NAZI war time production. The slot for the stock is deleted as are the machined grooves in the frame by the trigger. Machining on the bottom of the frame by the trigger guard is rough compared to the earlier "B" series example that I have. I believe that the right hand grip and the magazine are reproductions. All serial numbers match and bluing is good. Lot's of waffenamts and inspector stamps. VIS Radoms are really tough to find in any condition in Canada and jealously guarded by collectors (my precious ha ha). So even though I wasn't specifically looking for one of these I feel lucky to have found it. See pics below.
