So I picked up a pretty decent 3-lever VIS Radom at the Kamloops Gun Show. This one is an "N" alphabet series, so well into NAZI war time production. The slot for the stock is deleted as are the machined grooves in the frame by the trigger. Machining on the bottom of the frame by the trigger guard is rough compared to the earlier "B" series example that I have. I believe that the right hand grip and the magazine are reproductions. All serial numbers match and bluing is good. Lot's of waffenamts and inspector stamps. VIS Radoms are really tough to find in any condition in Canada and jealously guarded by collectors (my precious ha ha). So even though I wasn't specifically looking for one of these I feel lucky to have found it. See pics below.

Hey Horilka, I didn't mention what I paid for it so assume you know the vendor. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time ; )

Very nice pistol you got, was it from the same guy who was trying to sell two of them at the Chilliwack HACS show?

Yes I believe so. But I don't know if he had this particular one for sale at tbe Chilliwack show. As far as I know he's sold them all now. At least all of the ones he was willing to part with. He must have been collecting for a ong time. Now I need to find a nice Luger.

Great VIS. The magazine appears to be a triple-k reproduction, which tend to be very difficult to function correctly.
Here is a gun that's very close to your serial number, in near mint condition. As new as they come these days.
