VLTOR+DLASK+ATRS+NEA+JP...= First complete built.

Very nice build!
Question: What made you go with a vertical grip rather than a slanted?

I like slanted grips on longer handguards/barrels, I don't use the vertical grip like a tennis racquet I put my hand in front of it around the HG and use the grip like a rear stopping point. So my arm is not as extended as with a AFG. I don't know if it's clear but thats the best I can do.

Read all the posts and you will see a picture from a build with a 7,5", which in my opinion doesn t look good hence the 8,5"

I read all the posts. Nothing confirmed that the rail was 9 inches from front of the upper to the opening of the rail. Hence why I asked the way I did. I didn't find any measurements online either. Could you give an accurate measurement of the entire rail from upper to opening?

I was looking at a 7.5 with 9 inch troy trx rail and a flaming pig or dlask MB. Your build might change my outlook on barrel length but I just want to be sure of the lengths your running with all around.

Yep it s a 9 inch handguard from receiver to end. IMHO your built will look a lot better with a 7,6" troy handguard, you can go on AR15 . com and check the Ar pistol picture thread (you don't need to register), it will give you plenty of examples. A 11.5" barrel with a 12" handguard also looks great.
