I sent in my scope to get checked and got stickers and a free hat as well haha love it
They should have good service, because most people I know who has tried vortex optics have needed warranty work.
I have long said that Vortex has the best warrantee in te business, and you will definitely use it. That's why I use Leupold exclusively.
I've had some Vortex products. Never again. It's the best warranty that you will definitely need.
^I've read this sentiment dozens of times, and always think the same thing; "When people bought their Vortex, they always had the option of buying Leupold instead". .
I really have no idea what happened to it. It didn’t have excessive ring marks and wasn’t distorted at all. The AMG 6-24 is a lightweight scope though. It’s only a 30mm tube but still has a decent amount of adjustment available. I would think it would be fairly thin. That it's been overtightened is why they say all their scopes failed. Lol
There was a member on here who used a very expensive precision torque driver to install theirs to 15in/lbs and when it failed vortex gave the same line.
I've often wondered if their scope tubes are thinner than other brands.

I’m willing to bet that it would be difficult to crush a razor hd tube.
I do have a diamondback on a hunting rifle and it seems ok. Nothing really noteworthy. Honestly, I try to avoid the Philippines and china stuff. After using high end optics from vortex and others, the fit/finish and general quality disappoints. Same goes for all brands though.
Red dots are the same. I’ve sent a couple of outsourced vortex red dots in for replacement. The AMG sight on the other hand was a beast! Both in weight and quality…
My good fortune with excellent service continues.
I called Century International(in Montreal) to get the correct screws to mount my new Vortex red dot.
I was expecting an envelope in the mail. Today a box the size of two loaves of bread arrived.
Inside were two sets of screws (in case I buggered one up) plus 2 very nice hats.
The Canik is my favourite pistol and I am delighted to see that it is supported by a real first-class distributor.
