Saw this in the Van Sun. Looks like a Rem Wingmaster with a cutdown field barrel.

Are the woodstocks laminated ones from an 870 express? Can't tell with the glare. They look polished/varnished though.
 
thats definitely a prohib since i dont know of any factory ~14" vent rib barrels :)

unfortunately this is JUST the type of thing that hurts us most as law-abiding gun owners since the antis can say 'look, its a 'hunting' shotgun thats been sawn off into an evil baby-killing weapon'.
it would be better for us if the cop were holding a SPAS-12 or Striker :(
 
Vent rib, shiny finish, varnished impressed checkering on the stock.... Looks just like my mid 80's vintage wingmaster that has seen a hacksaw....

I don't know, I've seen pictures of swat members with ar-15 magazines in backwards. Maybe he just forgot to load it :kickInTheNuts:

In all fairness I don't really think the gangs care too much about the tac parts just because they wouldn't want to draw attention to the fact that they have illegal firearms (if rcmp or anyone monitors sales of parts...who knows maybe my tinfoil hat is just a bit tight hahaha) that and they just want profit from drugs so as long as their stolen hunting shotgun goes bang they are happy...

You realize they have absolutely no clue how or what or why anything tacticool for the majority of them, nor do they care. Its not a matter of what kind of gun, its what can they get and at what price.

I have seen some illegal guns from shady folks way back when, and trust me, a single shot break open that was hacksawed was pretty amazing to them just being a gun period. Those black market guns fetch ridiculous prices, if that wingmaster cut cost someone $1-2000 bux, some douchehead could Call of duty it out with a rail/light and charge some drug dealer $10000. They just don't know or really care either way and the tactiness serves them no purpose.
