VZ 58 Beryl style Mount..

Oh, sorry about that. For some reason I read this thread two pages in so I missed the intro.

If the rail can integrate with the front handguard rail, sit flush and still hold zero I am more down than an Australian.

How about using Troy BUIS? Could the front sight be replaced with one to accompany a new rear iron sight?

I'm working on a mount that slips onto the front handguard and runs the full length. Should be no issues with using front/rear BUIS's. Just may want to pull the front factory sight for looks because they're not going to line up. There's no way to get a rail ontop that's low enough to sight onto the stock front sight.

My machinist is falling asleep making pic rail by hand. Guy needs to get with the times and go CNC. ;)

so is there still going to be a version that simply mounts to the rear sight base and goes to the dust cover pin hole?

i don't run a railed upper handguard, and don't see a need for a rail past the rear sight mount anyways, what is its purpose?

that sounds good, put will you still be putting out a version like the first page where the rail stops at the rear sight instead of extending over the handguard?

More to follow buddy.

...Or get yer arse over here with a dozen asian sweatshop workers and we can get to work. ..er, they will and we'll hit the scotch!
