Hello all,
I mounted an aimpoint micro to my NEA handguard last week. It sighted in easily and I achieved co-witness with the front sight as well. I was using the factory folding stock at this time.
Fast forward to today when I tried to sight my aimpoint in using my new stock assembly. I mounted an NEA stock adapter and attached a magpul mil spec receiver extension and CRT stock. I love this set up. Except that I cannot sight in my aimpoint properly anymore. Forget about co-witness. The red dot is up so hight in the sight I can no longer see it. I noticed right away that the new stock set up is mounted up alot higher and is straight back from the receiver and not downward on an angle like my old folder.
I know this difference in hight and angle are causing my problem. My question is how do I fix it, without changing my stock assembly? Do you think using a raised mount will fix this issue?
Thanks
Sean
