Quick question should the gas system on the 858 be lubed or dry?

All gas systems should be dry or else they will keep more carbon then normal. The chrome will allow you to wipe off anyways.

Lightly lube the end of the piston extension that slides in the rear sight housing.

Most likely when I get back from Czech Rep. and Slovakia.
I'll be going at the end of this month for several weeks to see IDET http://www.bvv.cz/idet-gb . I'll also be visiting several of the manufacturers regarding brakes, mags, etc.... and drink beer.

Why do you want twist rate? Are you reloading 7.62x39? Blasphemy. Buy it you cheap bum! It's the cheapest non-pistol ammo out there.

Yeah, that's why I figured it was such a strange question to ask. All the milsurp ammo you can find is pretty much the same weight, with only a little bit of variance.

Sure milspec and close to it 123-127gr stuff should fly OK. But I also have some crappy 150+ wolf stuff to burn, and want to make it with a purpose of some kind ...

Just remimber that you can't expect anything appraoching good accuracy unless its .311 dia.
