Real men shoot 7.62x39 or higher.
C'mon potato man. 5.56mm is a HUMAN KILLER. The round is lethal on humans sorry to say dude. Do your homework before you say such noncience. When a 5.56 hits the body, the round will tear up you innards pretty nicely. If you don't die right out, you will surely bleed to death. The little bullet has a tendency to deflect off bone etc and tumble inside the body ripping all kinds of things open. Actually it is perfect for use on humans. Seeing as that was what it was designed for.
Not moose or deer, dude,, but HUMANS.![]()

Give me a little more credit son. I've earned it.
The 7.62x39 has more stopping power. And while YES, the 5.56 will kill you when you're shot with it (and it's probably going to hurt) the 7.62x39 shot through thick trees in the Vietnam war and still had enough force to kill the poor sap behind it.
If I'm fighting in urban combat, I want the AK for 2 reasons:
1. Stopping power
2. I sound like all the other insurgents and don't tip them off.

Lever Arms in Vanc had sh!tloads of sidefolders, I don't know if they still have them.
So it's my underfolder.
The 52 or whatever that is in your pic looks cool too.

Potat man, I have not problem giving you a little respect for you opinion, but when people say stupid un-substantiated things like AR's are for pussies, no stopping power, it makes my SKIN CRAWL! I'm not trying to debate one way or the other. But the fact is NATO adopted the 5.56mm for a reason. The 5.56mm was designed for a reason. The 5.56mm used in NAM was improved upon, although it's possible you may have some case regarding the deflection issue, although not much, as even the 7.62x39mm will bounce off of an object in the way, ie.a branch.
The point here is this. If the 5.56mm is for pussies and no stopping power, I challenge you to interview some of our soldiers on its efficency, and killing, ie. stopping power, and especially out to ranges that would make the 7.62x39mm round only wish to accomplish. Yes the 7.62x39mm is a mighty good combat round in most engagement ranges, and has been battle proven again and again,
But the points is you can't just go and bash the 5.56mm round like you did, and not expect to get this kind of reply.
The 5.56mm was designed for one purpose only. TO shoot humans. That's it That's all. If you want to use it on deer or moose, your choice, but that is not what it is designed for.![]()

You know just in case I ever run into a zombie hiding behind a tree
