How is that muzzle break attached?? Is it threaded so you just turn it on, or is it clamped on.
Futher do you know what its made out of (ie stailnless = more corrosen resistant)
All the muzzle breaks you see in my pics are threaded, you only press the little plunger in the front sight-block, unscrew the cap and screw-in the muzzle break. It fits the existing thread on the cz and vz barrels.

Further, Have you treid the rail system from palinak yet??
Yes, I have one, it’s how you see it in pics on this thread. It doesn’t rattle, it doesn’t move, it stays tight and solid with the rest of the gun.
On the top rail I have put a red dot first, now I want to put a low magnif thing, 4X or so, I’ll see what I’ll find.
On the bottom you can put a vertical grip if you want.
What is important for me, the fore-end doesn’t interfere with my underfolding stock.
On the side rails I may put a laser and/or a small flashlight, I didn’t make my mind yet.
It keeps the zero, it doesn’t migrate and what it’s important for me, I don’t have to remove it if I want to take the dust cover or the bolt out.

I've got an 858 pre-ordered as we speak, and am wondering how the factory muzzle is; how is the recoil and control, etc.? Thanks in advance
In my experience, the gun without muzzle break (just with the factory screw-in cap) has the tendency to climb, especially in rapid fire.
Recoil: theoretically, the short barrel one is supposed to kick just a little harder than the 19” barrel, but to tell you the truth, I cannot feel that difference.
Recoil is not very hard, but it may be a bothering issue for extensive shooting.
The slanted muzzlebreak, as I posted before, does not reduce recoil, but it reduces/eliminates climb (also, for me, it gives the gun that special look).
The gilled one cuts both the recoil and the climb, making the gun very smooth shooting. After a bit of practice in rapid fire, you will be surprised how fast you can shoot, because the gun is so easy to manage. It makes you miss so much the mags and the switch selectors we are not allowed to have.
For me it was a good investment, especially as I plan to buy another gun soon (non-restricted this time).
I am not trying to sell you anything, but as Deckard says, get one. You will notice a big difference, as the gun will be much more controllable and steady. I hope you choose the right one for you.
