Use a tool with a hook in it, like a packing/seal pick. Pull back the extractor plunger and spring as far back as you can, flip the bolt over and the extractor ought to drop out. My ext'r spring was caked with crap and so was the firing pin. Solvent will remove the grease and varnished oil, but not the chunks of dirt. Plus, you can czech for rust.

I'd take the Skorpion for 150 Euros - (and probably 5 Vz 58) now how do I get a Czech class A license???????

I checked out some laws when I was browsing grad schools there the website is down currently, but I seem to remember something about 4 classes
1-full auto
2-assault semi auto
3-handgun
4-hunting arms
Licenses are needed for any class, and a reason for posession, and self defense is a acceptable response. Even for class 1. I think a cop has to give character statement of you for 1 and 2, not really sure anymore.
And from what I remember these were forced on cz-republic as a condition of becoming a ##### of the EU.

the cop thing is a good/bad idea....
Watch out for ANTI-GUN-COPS their anti-guns so they might just take the guns you already own and make you go to therapy and junk like that...but on the good side it would keep guns out of hands of unstable ppl.

what if and interest in firearms was considered unstable ?
we are close to that here in canada
Do you realize that the are people in the military who think its strange for people in the military to have an interest in firearms?
I have had that intial reaction when it has come up in conversation then when they start to learn the historical and practical aspects then they get intersted .......I used to laugh at the term "social engineering" .......i don't anymore

What i am trying to say is ......what is the definition of abnormal/unstable behavior ?
it may seem easy at a quick glance.
For eg .......Ms Cukier does not think it normal for people to want to own firearms ...
actually there alot of people who think fire arms owners who don't hunt are abnormal/unstable....(i think thats BS) ...its an. extreme view
but a step for "screening" would have to be rock solid legislation that would be very tricky to out line esp when you look at laws like C68 and the "young offender act" I don't have too much faith in that route ....

Their are less anti gun cops than you think.
Cops are normal people like you and me. They see where the problems are in society with their work. I would assume they'd see how few problems law abiding gun owners create.
Especially VZ 58 owners (to stay on topic).
