What is the story on the front sight post hood? Some have hoods that go over the post (like the above pic), and some are open like mine.

Apparently they tried a 1913 rail over the ejection opening and it screwed up reliability...

He should be back here this week and hopefully he will let me post some of the stills from the video etc.

at 60m my scoped AR shot into 2 inches....my CZ into 4....5 shot groups....

Hmmm.....in spirit I guess. I had heard that someone locally here in the lower mainland had shortened a VZ58 and added a AR flashider.
