Has anyone heard if Marstar is going to get more vz-58l or vz-58s rifles in stock, seem like they have been sold out for a few months now ? I know the owner is on CGN anyone here if they are getting more in or when they might be ? (Realizing timelines are very difficult to give when importing products but maybe before Christmas ?) Thanks

^you mean the magazine?

Dunno man it's spot welded together on the front spine. I don't really think you can take it apart....

Where is the location of the rivet? It may have been installed a little too high? Where did you buy it? Check with the seller of the rifle, they may exchange it.

i dont think it was done by the factory, they wouldnt be so far off .

measure the center of the rivet to the top of the mag with a straight ruler , it should be 2 3/8- 2 1/2" , less than that then that is where the problem lies. drill out the rivet and relocate.

if rivet is in the right location then mostly, inspect for dents near the top that could prevent the follower from going down further.

you can release the pressure from the spring by using a pen to push the lock on the bottom of the mag and sliding the bottom plate, the follower will not come out due to the rivet but it should move freely if not then look for where its getting hung up.

ok ok so i thought i had a chromed barrel as i am informed it is not chromed....so what am into here? is it bad to not be chromed?

chrome is only for lazy people who don't like cleaning. chrome actually hurts accuracy.

I have made the first moves to see that a 58 pistol is a reality. These are very small, humble steps however and may go nowhere. But it could work.
