Q: Considering this monster thread, what do you think of the VZ-58 type rifle?

what is the difference between the vs58s and vz58L or cz858 ... i know the barrel length makes it restricted or non-res and the s has chrome lined barrel but is that all??

Chopping down a restricted barrel is kinda illegal, you know...

i thought it was only illegal if it was from a non-restricted to restricted as the barrel was already under 26"

side note, marstar ever looked into doing a pistol version and thus letting us get pistol mags? i assume there would be a decent cost to get new mags designed/made but would think people would snap the 10 rounders up

The mags these come with are used, in order for a mag to be a pistol mag, they need to be produced new, for the pistol application only, which means a new gun needs to be produced and recognized as a pistol also...or something to that effect; neither of which is going to be cost effective, or happen any time soon.

Its A long weekend, take a day and read the thread, or just read 50 posts at a time for the next week or so, youll learn allot...better yet, order a cz 858 then start reading the thread while you wait for it to show up in the mail!

Don't have anything on this for the FAQ's, but a little bird whispered in my ear today that Wolverine have the VZ-58 scout mount in stock again - finally. It's still seems awfully pricey for what you're getting, but then what do I know?

Out of curosity, how long are those barrels? i remember seeing short barrelled versions of the CZ 858 from Wolverine Supplies but these are definitely look shorter.
 
Hey guys, i've been looking for a picture with an Afghan man holding a VZ58 with stickers on it, could you help me out? just spent like 15 minutes browsing each page of this thread...still nothing...
