Walther P22- pretty sure I'm screwed

A couple of you need to calm your judgmental selves down a notch. I still have the pistol, it's sitting in the safe where it has been since this little adventure happened. Yes the fella that worked on it did irreversible damage to it. However it was garbage anyway. The parts that are salvageable are no where near where the weld occurred. So take a pill and relax. I have many other functioning firearms and have been spending my time firing them in the meantime. I'll do what I damn well please with my firearm. If I decide to make it into a door stop, I'll do just that. Take your condescending,rude comments elsewhere. I've always enjoyed all the helpful folks on CGN over the years. I have no time for those that are just here to stir the pot and make rude comments. Do us all a favor and keep on scrolling.

I'm sorry you went to us for help and you got a bunch of judgement and bs. This happens too often on here.

Crappy luck for sure. My wife has one of these things too, that I bought before I read about the issues others have had. If you end up deciding to turn it in, I'd be into having some spare parts for my wife's. Pm me if you decide it needs a new home.
