First of all i am a noob to lever actions, secondly i bought it brand new online. i cycled the crap out of it at least a thousand times shot about 15 rounds through it. still junk. and i love this gun but just let down i must a got a tail end of the junk ones before the new ones were put out. Just being honest here. i am not home until august. i will do it then . post pictures and call marlin/remington to see if they will fix or warrenty it.

It sounds like you probably just need to tighten some screws, oil the lever, and put a light radius on the lever plunger that locks in up in the action. But tough to say when you talk all that smack without showing any photos of what's wrong in someone else's thread who IS NOT THE DEALER YOU BOUGHT FROM.

Front sight post was garbage on mine,, I can push it back and forth with my fingers... Oh well guess it anther $150 for an after market XS sight.... Other than that I'm very happy with it. : )
