Tell me about it.
I got remarried this summer and moved into a bigger home so I decided to rent one of those storage shipping containers to hold all my toys. That way I only had a couple of 24 foot trucks to move on moving day, we could get settled in and in a couple of weeks I could call for the container and have it dropped off at the new place.
Moved all my stuff in to the new home, got married and then we sold her home and have to move her stuff in this next weekend. Not sure where the container full of stuff is going to go but at least I kept out 200 lbs of lead just in case I needed some and couldn't get into the container till a later date.
When the guy came and picked up the container from the old house the truck was picking it up and man was it groaning under the load. He turns to me and asks, What do you have in there bricks? I said yes a matter a fact I do have bricks in there. lol
It is all wheel weights. I started to see a trend with the enviro nazi's in the early 90's and started to collect fearing that someday I wouldn't be able to get lead. At that time shops were getting nothing for the WW's or even having to pay for someone to pick them up.

What boolits/caliber are you casting for? I use soft lube for all my boolits up to including 30-06 with no leading. I make Felix lube when I have the time or buy an Alox based soft lube from a company in the US.
Commercial casters use hard lube in their products due to shipping concerns. Soft lubes stored in bulk can be messy. From my experience soft lubes are far more efficient and work. I have a heater attached to my RCBS lubricator and have't used it in quite sometime as I find the softer lubes to work much better.

If you want to learn how to cast, I can probably help you out. I've got another "apprentice" for lack of a better word, who wants to learn how. We're into hunting season now, but I'll be doing at least one big casting session before the weather turns cold. I'll be doing rifle bullets, pistol bullets, 2 different sizes of buckshot and some 12 gauge slugs. I live in north east Edmonton. Let me know if you're interested. It'll be one day on a weekend.
