I have had many transactions with tradexx .if I was not happy with the product I returned it for a refund.there was never a problem.their ship rate is cheap at 25.i would not hesitate to do business with them due to return cost as its my decision to return the product.old military rifle parts are a crappie shoot at best not like buying new

No cost should be on the customer when a product is clearly falsely advertised and then faulty when it shows up. It's an extremely poor business practice when the consumer is stuck with a $40 bill for receiving a garbage product that was incorrectly advertised.

So if you drove an hour to buy a toaster, took it home, found it wasn’t as advertised, so returned it, would you demand travel expenses from the cashier?

I’ll concede that it’s nice when a company eats shipping costs in cases like this. Good pr. But for an old milsurp piece? To post a “warning” thread about the vendor?

Whatever floats your boat.

Please explain how tradex falsely advertised anything?

Did the ad say correct, WW2 specification, unaltered and collector grade k98k stocks?

If so, I must have missed that.

I think they are advertised as Yugo Mauser 98 takeoffs, which is exactly what they are.

I've bought several firearms as well as bullets and brass from Tradex. I was always happy with the service. Firearms were usually better than described.

If the OP had wanted a resolution, he would have started this thread in TradeEx' forum, where they would have seen it, and responded. Almost invariably this results in a resolution. Instead, this tread was started in a discussion forum, where the power of the internet could be used to punish them and perhaps cost them sales.
He has had his say, they is no reason for this thread to continue.
