Tracking shows the rifle arrived Dec 7th. He picked it up on Dec 9th. On the 11th I sent an email saying "Hi Tim, Just wondering when I can expect the refund EMT."
On the 17th of Dec, after no reply, I sent this "
Hi Tim,
I didn't get a reply from my last email, and I've yet to receive my refund.
If that could be sent ASAP, I would greatly appreciate it.
Then, after sending him a very long email, taking a much more serious tone, and promising to follow up with RCMP, CRA, CFO and the forums, I get this reply (within about 10 hrs)
"Hello (redacted), I am away for the holidays, I will be back in the shop January 1st a much needed vacation, thanks"
This was my reply back to Tim on Dec 22nd..
Hi Tim,
I appreciate your reply, but I'm afraid that doesn't work for me.
You were able to receive the rifle on the 9th, after it arrived on the 7th. I didn't receive any notice from you that you had received the item, or that I would receive a refund, but that there would be a delay until after you return from the holidays. While not the best from a customer service standpoint, it would have been communication, and would have been better than nothing.
Instead, I track the item, and wait a few days after showing it delivered, before sending you an email inquiring about my refund. 3 emails, politely asking you for a reply, and I hear nothing. Yet, within 12 hours of my last email, I get a reply that you're on vacation, and will follow up with me on the 1st, and with still, no acknowledgement or guarantee of a refund.
If you can reply to an email, you can send an EMT, and to satisfy a customer service issue, it should be 5 minutes well spent The optics just aren't looking to great from my end here. Waiting from December 9th, to the 24th is reasonable; especially giving you 3 additional days to come through. Asking me to wait another 11 just doesn't cut it.
I would have though my email would have warranted a more suitable reply. I can only assume two things at this point, you either have no intention of providing me with a refund, or you don't expect me to follow through with my previous email.
I need my refund EMT by this Thursday, at noon EST

I didn't get anything back after that, but on January 3rd...again, offering him an extension of two days from the January 1st that he noted, I sent the following email..
"Hi Tim,
You said January 1st. It is now January 3rd.
If I dont have my refund by 5pm EST tomorrow, I move forward with everything. Last chance. No more holiday delay."
That same day, January 3rd, I get this reply.
We regret to inform you that due to health reasons the owner of sks parts Canada is temporarily unavailable and apologizes for any inconveniences. All accounts will be settled when possible. Thank you for your patience, sks parts Canada.
And now the website is down due to "financial issues and restructuring"
