Hi everyone
Anyone have any experience with wartak ammo?
I picked up two bricks of 200rds at our local gun show for $70 each, price was good.
Shot it for the first time yesterday at the range out of my JR carbine, everything seemed good, no FTF or FTE, seemed to group well, then I had a FTF ejected and another FTF, upon inspection I noticed I had a broken brass stuck in the barrel.
Maybe I should elaborate here, the casing was sheered off like I had cut it with a pipe cutter, only about 1/4" to 3/8" of casing stuck in there.
No matter what I did, I just couldn't get to it, to get it out, so back home and remove the barrel, came out very easy, did a quick clean, and the gun wasn't very dirty at all.
So of course I am questioning the rifle as this was my first time shooting it and my first time shooting the ammo.
Gun seems to function well, but only time will tell, I figured I would come here and see if anyone else has had experience with the ammo.
This is the 124gr remanufactured brass ammo, not the steel cased - as an FYI
Thanks
Randy
