I picked one up in Australia.. Shot a Fallow with it so far an plan on decking Sambar eith it this comjng winter, btw it shoots pretty well open sighted!!
No complaints from my .303 Brit #1!!

I guess so. I just saw one listed on EE but by the time I got around to responding it was already sold!

Actually, I was hoping there was something a bit lighter and nicer than a Ruger #1...they always seemed a bit bulky to me, like most Rugers.

H&R makes Handi-Rifles in .30-30 and the Savage 219 was made in that calibre.

No, we are not. Not a current model from Ruger. We sold 237 of these rifles in Canada after the members of CGN suggested the idea. that was about three years ago, IIRC.

Apparently, they did, in fact, make 11 RSI's in 303 Brit. They were all sold to employees or donated for fundraisers. We did not find this out until a year after we sold the 'run' into Canada.
