Waspy Wabbits

If salt and borax preserve the hide only temporarily; what would be a better way?
Does anyone have a link?

Couple years is long enough for me. But I too eould be interested in a more long term solution for other hides I'd like to preserve

They sure are dark around your area. Here they are glowing white puff balls in the headlights (on my way to work in the morning). Saw a couple this morning on the way in. They aren't jacks, might be cotton tails (near Saskatoon)? we call them bush bunnies.

If they are white, they are vaying hares, commonly known as snowshoe hares as well. Cotton tails and Jack rabbits stay brown all year.
