Watched a Wolf This Morning

I feel it's best to have one all round gun that fits your needs for hunting. Use it,shoot it,and know it no questions whether it's sighted in it's your work horse! Save the others for the range. Good luck with the wolf next time!

And which magic cartridge and caliber would that be????????? I have 30 or 40 "all round" rifles and cartridges and at any time I have likely a dozen or more sighted in. What I hadn't decided on, was which was the perfect all around back door gun yet as my 7 RUM was rusting sitting there and I needed to pick a more weather proof set up which I had not done yet. Having decided on the 257 Bee, I checked the zero and made sure I have 100 loaded rounds so I know she's all set to go.
As with the 7 RUM, nothing with in my view of my pasture from end to end (which is about 450 mtrs) is safe. This is a major consideration when selecting an all around back door gun........As far as shooting one rifle and being extra familiar with it, all I have to say is I shoot all my rifles with pretty much equal aplomb.
