Everytime I hunt, I like bring my NEF 20 gauge single shot, a box of size 71/2 2/34" shot shell and five slug incase a deer at closer range and I still can take it. Never come across a black bear at very close range.
I'll be using a 500 Mossberg, 28" barrel and front bead for waterfowl. I'll be using a crossbow for deer and a rifle (303Brit or 7mm rem mag) for black bear.
I'll be using my remington super mag, with 24" Mossberg fully rifled barrel and iron sights for deer with federal Barnes expander 3" sabots. I'll be using the same gun with a 28" smoothbore barrel and a mini fiber optic bead sight, a HS undertaker waterfowl choke for geese and Kent 3 1/2" #1 steel.
For small game I will use my Beretta SPIII (12ga.) o/u and my Extrema2 MAX4HD for ducks and geese. For deer, my 870P (18" rifle sight) will the backup backup's. I wish i'll be able to get a nice SxS for next fall in 20 gauge.

700 .223 for coyotes topped with a 12x leupold, 12 guage remmy pump for geese/ducks, CZ 452 LUX 22 mag open sighs for the small stuff. This may all change depending on several factors ..
For waterfowl, an 870 pump or Beretta SxS with Kent Impact non-toxic.
2-3/4" - 5's for ducks, 1's for geese. Either a Browning 20 ga. SxS or a ribbed Mod. 42 Winchester for upland.
Rifle for deer/moose - choice of .45-70, 35 Whelen or 25-06.
870 express for ducks/geese/rabbits with the 21in, toss on the fully rifled barrel with a bushnell 1.75-4 for deer.
870 Wingmaster for ducks/geese/rabbits with the 28in barrel, and the 20in rifle sited improved cyl for deer as well
