Wearing a mask this hunting season?

Nope, no mask while hunting. The team consists only of my son and I, hunting in a very remote area for two weeks.

You do realize that mask-wearing is to protect others from you right?

My son and I will both be wearing masks when around others at camp. I'd rather be laughed at or called whatever name some folks here choose to call us than risk being an unknown carrier and unintentionally making one of my closest friends sick. I do not know if they have or don't have a compromised immune system, or how Covid-19 could affect them. Sure it's a minor inconvenience, but I'd rather that than not seeing one or more of my buddies at camp next year...some things are more important than any inconvenience that I may suffer.

LOL, a person is probably a 100 times more likely to get a disease from handling the dead hunted animal than getting the Wu-Flu in a WalMart, let alone being around a few people your hunting with. Damn, its just sad how easily the peasants can be herded.

IBTL.
I'm not a 'Freedom Fighter' or a 'Maskhole' about it. I'll entertain wearing one if a business or situation seems to require one.
But I'm usually a lone hunter or with my son, so it's just not a deal while hunting.
Non event.
But sadly I see a couple members locking horns and this thread ending with a lock...human nature in these times.

Each situation is unique. There are 100 variables that would influence my personal decision.

The point is, id expect people to respect my personal decision. If I choose to wear a mask, or if you are in “my” vehicle and I ask you to wear one I don’t expect it to become big some issue. Like if I said, no smoking in “my” truck.

We all spout about individual choice and freedom. I’ll do me, and you do you...
