Weatherby Fan's

Actually stubblejumper I'm getting sick and tired of listening to your constant put downs in the various forums. What a great and mighty hunter you are in your own eyes. Every forum on the net has one of you and every bar in town has one of you also. If you have nothing useful to say on this thread then please leave!!!

Some recent posts are certainly on the verge of being malicious. It's not hard to get carried away and post things that I'm sure are later regreted.

On another point, I know many long-time and accomplished hunters whose opinion and advice regarding guns and their respective chamberings I wouldn't hold in any higher regard than some of that contested here. To each their own.

By the way, I did receive PMs from forum members thanking me for exposing you for what you are. To those people, you are very welcome.

Funny, I've had people send me messages for the same thing on at least two other threads in the past regarding you. All the drama that seems to follow you specifically and yet you still fail to see the common denominator.
Most of us are enjoying the debate with tongue in cheek and for entertainment. Try getting back to that oh so knowledgable one.

Back to the beginning: Mark V's, are they a child only a mother can love, or a diamond beneath a lot of rough? :D

The funny thing is, you specifically seem to enjoy monitoring my posts on this forum, and on others, just waiting for an excuse to attack. It seems that I need do is suggest a scope or other product that you don't like, to set you off. At first, I thought you just hated the Zeiss Conquest, but then I realized that you didn't attack other people when they recommended one to someone.

One's own medicine often tastes bitter when administered by someone else.

I know exactly what you mean. He is actually a fairly smart fellow - he just doesn't know when to stop. Take his last post - kind of hypocritical, isn't it?

Anyways, some folks just can't help it. I don't bother disputing things with them and when they think they've "won" they move on. Sadly there are several really knowledgeable folks that don't post on this forum due to threads like this. It really is a loss for the new generation as there is a wealth of knowledge out there - including from Stubblejumper.

Not unless you are insinuating that I scan posts for certain usernames ,looking for an opportunity to attack them. On more than one occasion the only post in an entire thread by a certain individual, was an attack on myself. I may not agree with everyone's opinion, as is common on these forums, but I don't post on threads for the sole purpose of making a personal attack on a specific individual because I have a grudge against them.
However, if someone does initiate an attack on me,I will certainly respond to them in kind on that same thread.

You take yourself too seriously; no one would waste their time. The fact is you have a habit of arrogantly posting your opinion as fact on nearly every thread there is. That habit tends to get under people's skin, so when one happens to see it, they call you out on it. Take notice: I am not the only one. Also take notice of your post count vs mine. I will happen across your posts more often than you mine.
1899 is correct: you happen to have some knowledge worth sharing. You just happen to think all of it is, and no one else does. And that Conquest thread is way old. Get over it.

Enough about you, bring on the circus clowns of hunting rifles: the Weatherby Mark V series.:D

Take notice: I am not the only one.

But you are one of a very few people on this forum that actually resorts to jumping into a thread, for no other reason than to make a personal attack on a specific individual.

And that Conquest thread is way old. Get over it.

Get over it:p it was you that went on a ranting session, just because I suggested a Conquest when someone posted asking for scope suggestions. Your blood pressure must have gone through the ceiling after what you spewed out. I was wondering if you were going to blow a gasket. I was actually shocked to see you lose it the way that you did. I can see why you would want to forget that thread.

And to ignore the narcissist and move on with the thread....

Looks like someone got their hands on a Weatherby and made a tasteful DGR out of it:eek:

And somebody didn't. This reminds of one of those tattoos...you know...those ones you always regret that involve a girl...sad...

Oh my, how could someone do that to a Lazermark
The top one looks pretty good though. I like the front barrel band.

I can't talk to you; you've been outed and now deserve to be treated like a dirty leper. :D

I have never liked the Lazermark so have no sadness, but can look at the atrocity done on the nice wood that now resides behind, well, that.

The top rifle is quite well done.

Yeah, I almost forgot that since I have never shot a big game animal I am not allowed to talk about rifles. Please forgive me :D

Stubblejumper, I'm not sure if you missed it but I was wondering if you had your MK Vs bedded or not when you were having issues getting the accuracy you wanted?

Both were stock Mark V Fibermarks. I gave up on the 300 and sold it. I bedded the 257,but it didn't help much. In the end, I had it rebarreled and it shot very well with the aftermarket barrel. However, having an aftermarket barrel, and bedding, it was hardly a Weatherby at that point.

That guy picked the hemp, twisted the rope, tied the noose, put it around his own neck, and swan dived.

Based on your tirades directed at me in previous threads, I can't help but wonder if perhaps you should try smoking some of that hemp. It might calm your nerves, and help you resist the urge to go on the attack whenever you see my username.

There is a difference between talking about rifles, and criticizing African professional hunters for their choices in hunting rifles. I myself have hunted for many years, but I haven't been to Africa, so I don't go giving people advice on what guns and cartridges to use for hunting in Africa. Most of all, I wouldn't criticize an African PH on his choice of rifle or chambering. He hunts there, and he knows the conditions,I don't.
And if I didn't hunt at all, I wouldn't be giving anyone advice on hunting rifles or cartridges.
