About 1 hour ago I ordered the above rimfire rifle,, and am searching for a 10 round magazine for it... Anyone aware of anyone or any store selling these? Or are the mags compatible with other rifle makes? Ruger or whatever else.... Help would be appreciated,

Also if anyone already owns this gun, let me know your impressions/performance.. Thx all.

Ps paid 650$ at wholesalesports on special for new... Seems like a good deal to me.. I was looking at 400-550$ rimfires.. But decided to splurge after reading great reviews on the weatherby. Thx all

Awesome Price

Owned one, accurate, just not as accurate as I thought it would be, also the bolt closing was rather heavy. Had to do quite the push to get it to close, but could be how the Anshutz actions work. I found my Browning T-Bolt to be more accurate so I sold the Weatherby. However, it is a very nice rifle, could be real accurate with performance ammo. And if you decide you don't like it, I'm sure you'll break even or make a buck selling it. My 2 cents.

Try P&D for the 10-shot mag.

Dam, just went to see if that price where true and low and behold it was:(
When I clicked on the add to cart a message popped up that the item would take longer to ...meaning back ordered.
So, I just called and was told no more available and the next shipment could be 6 weeks or 6 months.
Someone sure got lucky at that price.
Enjoy the New Flying W !

Wow how did u manage to get through to anyone???? I've called 3 times today,,,left 2 messages never returned my calls, lol. This the norm for wholesalesports?

Edit.. Just wanted to add, they did call me later and were extremely helpful. Don't want to bad mouth anyone who doesn't deserve it.

Lol nice,, I finally got through just as I was stepping out of the house, so we spoke quickly but I was pressed for time, nice fellow. But he wasn't sure if they had any in stock when I ordered,,, I'm kinda nervous now, lol dunno if I wanna wait the 6 weeks or 6 months the previous poster stated

Savage magazines work once you take a file and notch a v in the rear ribbing.

You bought a rifle at below cost. congratulations, those retail for over $1K typically.

You might find it has a preference for Eley ammo.

Great buy, I am thinking someone messed up on pricing. as buying any new Anschutz 64 action for $650 is not common.

Yup, the Savage magazine work good.

Brownells #533-400-355 for the 5 rounds, #533-400-350 for the 10 rounds

Sure, they don't have that fancy Anschutz/Weatherby plastic floor plate... but at 1/4 the price... who's to complain.

** EDIT **

Did Weatherby drop the MKII? I can't seem to find it on their website.

Interesting and good to know!!

Do the above mags fit bolt and semi-auto Weatherbys?

Only the bolt action rifle, that was built upon the Anschutz 64 action.

The magazines for the semi look like this:
