A neighbour recently showed me this revolver.
It is branded "Webley III .38" There appears to be a small superscript on either side of the 'III', but I couldn't decipher what they were.
The serial number is in the 18### range.
The only other obvious marking was a cartouche stating: Webley Patents.
Here's a photo.
The neighbour is in his late 80s and stated that the revolver belonged to a great uncle.
Anyone tell me exactly what this is and how old?
