Website hard to navigate

I have to use Chrome to access the site. I can't use the CGN banner ads to go to CA. Every other sponser I can !!!! So I'm spending more money at other sponsers!!!!

Yup, not a big fan of the new site. You are using some techniques that have proven to be ineffective, such as the sliding banners (multi-banner). And to top it off, it's getting a lot of prime real-estate.

Not sure who is guiding you in terms of design/usability but it's kind of amateurish.

At least it's responsive.

I would suggest scrapping the massive sliding banners and evaluate exit-intent modals to catch people exiting the new site out of frustration :)

The site is brutally bad. Almost impossible to navigate and just generally crappy. Canada ammo is a good company but their web designer needs his ass seriously kicked & then he needs to be fired. It has to be costing you business. It's just awful.

I have to agree. The new website is frustrating to navigate....I have not placed an order since the change.

I don't find the new site difficult to navigate but the drop down menus don't work on my iPhone.

Can Am is a great company, you would think with this much controversy that they would rectify this problem instead of getting everyone to adjust their computer.

Here's my theory...Canada Ammo is too successful. They are so busy that they often take 2-3 days even to process an order and then another 2-3 days before it ships. The last time I bought ammo it was 6 business days before it shipped. Most quality E commerce vendors strive for next day shipping. The new website is obviously their attempt to reduce congestion and improve customer service by limiting those nasty sales volumes that slow things down.;)

I know that many companies would try and expand capacity to meet demand but hey, reducing demand to meet capacity works too!

+1 for the old site!
I just found it way better in appearance, navigation, and seeing the specials along the top of the screen.

For those of us that have taken the time to post about the disappointing new website.
There are a plenty more who feel the same who have not posted on the forum.
Its not realistic for Canada Ammo to expect the client to adjust their browser only for their website.......... when it works fine for any other vendor website.
Something is off...and i would think someone in IT could fix this or change something to make it more user friendly.

This topic has been beaten down before, but yeah, I stopped shopping at Canada Ammo too. I really do hate their new site, I used to visit their old site daily. It takes too much damn time to find everything - and if there is a sale, well.. it's unresponsive at times.
