OK, shouldn't both these versions be pretty much the same, except for the barrel? So how is it possible that we have complaints about the first quality of the first batch(Marstar)? I mean, these are not surplus Hungarian or Romanian M-44 carbines... some nice, some junk. Also the price is almost the same, the 858 being $50 more expensive(but that is because of the added barrel and because it is non-Restricted, so Hipwell can very well jack up the price by a few dollars)
capp325, just checking... are you into milsurps/military at all? Because these, even new, will not have the "polished" look of some civilian rifles. They are generally not made to look nice, just cheap and reliable...not Remingtons.
