Welcome to the ATF SBR-9 restricted FRT 197619

Iam still surprised glock themselves never came up with anything like this

I'm not.... :)

They still can't be bothered to do some basic improvements to the grip such as under cutting their trigger guard a bit more so most people's knuckle fit nicer with a high grip on the gun.... they've made some changes over the years with texture and finger bumps etc but still haven't tweaked the trigger guard shape?

Uses 10 round glock 17 mags.

I understand it takes 10 round Glock mags.

Let me clarify. So, if the mag already exists for a pistol, I.E., G-17 in 10 round, it is o.k. to take that mag designed for a pistol, and use it in a restricted rifle that uses the same mag and still have it 10 round?

Our laws are stupid to say the least but, I just want to be clear about this before I buy.

Yup. Same principle applies for LAR 15 mags being used in standard AR platforms but still retaining 10rnds

i dont see any updates or progress from IRG. is this not happening anytime soon ?

IRG is typically pretty good with communicating, that said if there's nothing to say, there's nothing to say.

People should be ready for an unexpected announcement they are available and ready to purchase, if they want one.

What's even more crazy is you can take a .40 S&W glock mag and put in 13-14 rounds of 9mm into it with a slight crimp on the feeding lips. And this is still totally legal in Canada. As long as it holds the 10 round max it was built for. (10 rounds of .40)
