Welcome to the ATF SBR-9 restricted FRT 197619

I was excited about this but think Iam gonna hold off to see first impressions. I think it’s cool but the calibre is wrong for me I also want to see how it is to use Iam thinking the way the bridge is from bottom of pistol grip to front grip may not be a good fit for some and I noticed it has bolts all along the outer profile of the firearms leading me to Beleive it’s kel tec style manufacturing which may not be a bad thing so long as the material is better that keltec crap I still think it would be cool with a 22 conversion and if future releases have this option I may jump on board but at 1100 Canadian pluse another 5 to 6 hundred for a Gen 3 conversion to 22 your around 16 to 17 hundred and I would have a 9mm upper sitting in parts bin

Armalytics runs off the public FRT, its not known to be the most up to date document.

It's likely on the online webportal version for police/businesses.

The Armalytics data is up to date as of June 5th.
I also had someone who has access to the live version check and could not find it either (yesterday).

i wonder why IRG stays quiet on this topic. may be like you said.. something going with RCMP. Anyway waiting for this to materialize... im sure they would have got some approval before going ahead and mass producing it.

You're not far from the truth. On May 15th the RCMP approved the ATF SBR-9 and published the restricted FRT.

Two weeks later we received an email stating that they had pulled said FRT until they received a production sample.

They received the production sample on June 19th and we have been advised this should be resolved within 30 days.

We will keep everyone in the loop.

Sounds like RCMP shenanigans.

Good luck! That production version looks awesome - can’t wait for it to be approved again.

let them get approval for the current form as it is ? i know it will but still hanging in the thread.

I see the pics. Nice.

I's love to be optimistic but I have the funny feeling the lab is gonna sit on this one a while. They don't like upsetting their masters (Liberals and by extension, Poly. Canadian public haven't been their masters since Confederation).
